Psychiatric Counselors / Mental Health Technicians will assist
with the nursing care of the patient; participates in patient and
family teaching and works cooperatively with other patient care
personnel in maintaining a high level of quality service to patients
of all ages found within the scope of services. High; heavy patient
interaction; responds to codes.
Searching for a candidate with previous experience working with patients suffering from mental illness, and/ or addictive disorders; Bachelor's degree in a related field is preferred. Ability to work with others in a team environment, ability to obtain and interpret information in terms of patients needs and must serve patients with a empathtic and professional approach. Will gain knowledge of each assigned patient in terms of therapeutic issues, provides that patient support with day-to day activities and will assist in working towards goals for discharge.
This position may require duties including lifting, carrying,
pushing and pulling; requires frequent standing and walking while
conducting rounds. Good visual and auditory acuity as well as good
manual dexterity and the ability to be readily understood are
essential. This is a high pace working environment.
Seeking FT- available to work three (3) 12hr shifts from 7:00pm to 7:30am / alternating weekends.
