Job Description:   Under administrative supervision of the Director of Behavioral Health, the Behavioral Health Intake and Social Services Coordinator, markets, plans and organizes the Geropsychiatric Inpatient and medical detoxification admission processes, including but not limited to evaluations regarding appropriateness for admission, insurance preauthorization and utilization review, benefits verification, communication and coordination with any legal guardians and successful informational handoffs with RNs. This position also participates in and coordinates case management. He/she works collaboratively with the team to optimize patient outcomes and maximize reimbursement for the organization. S/he assists Director with the accurate processing and collection of clinical data, provides social histories, discharge planning, case management, process and psycho-educational groups when appropriate. S/he participates in developing and implementing marketing strategies that parallel the admissions process in collaboration with and under the supervision of the Director of Behavioral Health.
·          & nbsp;      Current licensure in the State of Nevada as a LCSW, MFT, RN or LADC. 
·          & nbsp;       Experience working in a behavioral health treatment setting. 
·          & nbsp;       BLS certification.
