The Regional Director - Finance/Acute's primary function is to conduct monthly financial statement and operational reviews, attesting to the accuracy and integrity, for assigned acute care hospitals.

Essential Job Duties:

Conducts monthly financial statement and operational reviews, attesting to the accuracy and integrity, for assigned acute care hospitals. The process is undertaken to subject the monthly financial statements and results of operations to an independent review and identify potential reporting errors or concerns. Any material misstatements of the financial results are corrected prior to the corporate consolidation and SEC reporting process.

Analyzes the financial impact of operational changes made or proposed and discusses with facility management and makes recommendations to corporate administration.

Recruits, manages and trains facility senior financial staff.

Develops guidelines, assists facilities and reviews annual budget preparation.

Develops standardized and current polices procedures and reporting mechanisms related to financial operations, reporting, and systems conversions at the facilities.

Performs operational and financial reviews at facilities

Performs other duties as assigned/required.


Bachelor's Degree required, Master's Degree preferred.

Five years plus progressive experience in a financial capacity at a health care facility or Physician Practice. Experience directing Medical Records (HIM), Business Office, Materials Management and Accounting departments preferred.

Experienced with information systems conversions, excellent computer skills on various systems.
Excellent communication, collaboration and project management skills.
Travel requirements vary but are not significant, up to 5%.
