Accountable for the execution of service quality by
maintaining highest level of food preparation and delivery. Plans
menus including methods, timetables and costs to support
Hospital’s strategic plan.
Manages the daily operations of the food production staff to ensure quality foods are delivered. Inspects facilities and recommends repairs and upgrades when needed. Executive Chef is responsible for training new employees and ensuring their work schedules are coordinated to meet the needs of the Hospital. The Chef will oversee the work of the FNS employees and be responsible for maintaining and ordering food supplies as needed. The Chef assigns tasks to employees and makes cleaning suggestions to continuously improve our image. The Chef is familiar with a variety of the field’s concepts, practices, and procedures and have a general knowledge. Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
Education or Equivalent Experience: Degree in Culinary
Supervisor/Managerial Experience: 2 years Chef/ lead/supervisory experience.
Function Specific Experience: 2 years related work experience.
