Position Summary:
High Point Treatment Center is a licensed drug rehab and alcohol rehab facility that has been helping people recover from addiction for more than 25 years. High Point is one of the top drug rehab centers in the region. Located in South Florida, High Point’s drug rehab campus is nestled on six acres of tropical landscaping, offering a peaceful, private, and therapeutic environment to help achieve sobriety.

High Point offers the following treatment programs for adults: medically supervised drug detox, alcohol detox, 28 day residential treatment, day or evening outpatient programs, and complimentary aftercare for alumni. Our programs include individual therapy, 12-step counseling, group therapy, couples therapy, family therapy, and recreational therapy including yoga.

The main focus of our Florida drug rehab program is a safe and comfortable drug and alcohol detox. This is accomplished through our holding of an opiate treatment license as well as our medical director being capable of administering subutex and suboxone. Clients are monitored on a 24-hour basis and provided with a high level of medical, dietary and therapeutic care throughout their stay. High Point is currently housing a 36-bed facility, with 26 beds dedicated to drug detox, and has gained a reputation for providing quality and competitively priced treatment.

The cook is responsible for the preparation of meals for patients and staff according to approved menu cycles. They must provide assistance to toher cooks for service preparation and provide modified diets as needed.
 
Requirements
Education/Training:
• Knowledge of modified diets and training in food service sanitation. Must possess a food service sanitation certificate.

Experience:
• A minimum of two (2) years experience in quantity cooking.

Licensure/Certification: Serv safe certificate

Knowledge and Skills:

• Knowledge of modified diets
• Basic food service sanitation
• Food portion and waste control
• Ability to read menus and recipes
• Skill in organizing and prioritizing to meet deadlines and workloads.
• Ability to work as a team player
