Position Summary:

Education: Bachelor’s degree in business administration, organizational management or related field is preferred; high school diploma required.
Experience: A minimum of two (2) years experience in an administrative/management position, preferably in a psychiatric health-care setting.

Under the direction of the CNO, the Clinical Systems Coordinator will manage the daily operations of the Nursing Services Office.
The Clinical Systems Coordinator is responsible for providing staffing and administrative support to the Nursing Department.


Position requirements are as followed:

Order Supplies, Maintain supply closet. 
Provide receptionist support by answering the phone, greeting visitors and staff, and answering patient calls as necessary. 
Recognize and participate in ensuring the provision of quality and responsive patient care.
Maintain confidentiality of patients’ medical information. 
Maintain petty cash. 
Stamp and sort and mail daily mail.
Maintain attendance/call-in records; coordinate leave (PTO) requests and submit to CNO or Nursing Supervisor for approval. 
Will maintain sick log and work with Nurse Manager and CNO to replace staff calling in. 
Will assist in maintaining payroll (time sheets). 
Provide staffing support for the Department/CNO by developing and maintaining daily and monthly schedules, managing FTE’s in accordance with established guidelines, and completing staffing variance report for review with CNO. Ensure an adequate number of staff are available on each shift and calling off pool staff as needed. Will work with Nurse Managers and CNO to provide daily FTE management worksheet. 
Manage employee overtime. 
Manage all timekeeping/payroll related issues for Nursing Department staff.
Confirm weekend physician and AOC on call every weekend 
Develop and maintain accurate filing system for all department records including daily supervisor reports; acuity records; EOC; night audits; and Health Department, CMS, and TJC records/reports.
Coordinate patient transportation, ensure completion and accuracy of vehicle mileage logs, and ensure security of hospital vehicle keys.
