University Behavioral Health of El Paso has a great job opportunity for a Care Center Specialist. UBH of El Paso is a private psychiatric hospital specializing in mental health and chemical dependency care with 160 beds and a large partial hospitalization program.
The Care Center Specialist is responsible for assisting in the process of receiving, scheduling and/or referring inquiry calls. Assist the Care Center Intake Counselors, Coordinators and Director with coordinating assessments, initiating Intake paperwork and insurance information. Work with Admission Clerk to ensure smooth transition into the admission process.
1. Receive referral calls,
obtain minimal demographic information, and refer the call to the
appropriate source or schedule an assessment.
Education: Must have a
Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university in
Social Work or a clinical related mental health field; Or a min.
of 10 yrs. of experience in admissions in a healthcare
psychiatric facility. Master's Degree Preferred.
