Windmoor Healthcare, located in Clearwater Florida is a 120-bed comprehensive behavioral health care facility that provides a wide range of inpatient and partial hospitalization programs and services. Our facility has been providing intensive treatment of dual diagnosis issues and the comprehensive approach is highly individualized, designed to guide patients and their families through the process of intervention, assessment and treatment. We are currently seeking a Therapist-MSW to join our team. The candidate selected will be responsible for the following:
Providing counseling sessions for families, individuals, and groups. They will be responsible for interviewing and developing the psychosocial history, assessing the therapeutic needs of the patient and family, developing appropriate treatment objectives and monthly treatment summaries. The therapist are also liaisons with outside agencies and patients for the purpose of developing and coordinating discharge planning with the treatment team and family.
This position will be a PRN or as needed, with one scheduled shift
a week. More hours are available depending on flexibility and patient
census. Day Shift (7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.), Evening Shift (3:00p.a.
to 11:00pm), Night Shift (11:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m). Please note on

EXPERIENCE: One (1) year direct clinical experience specific to family, individual and group therapy. Knowledge of clinical skills to assess treatment dynamcs accurately and develop effective treatment strategies within the overall treatment plan. Knowledge of individual, group, and family therapy dynamics and techniques as realted to cultural, social, economic, communication, and role expectations within family systems. Strong communication and organizational skills recommended.
