Founded in 1997, Prairie St. John’s is a fully-licensed, 91-bed facility offering services for children, adolescents and adults to address mental health issues, chemical dependency or addiction and co-occurring disorders. Prairie offers a full-service psychiatric and addiction Continuum of Care. This Continuum of Care includes inpatient hospitalization, partial hospitalization, residential treatment, intensive outpatient services and clinic services. While several of our clients are from the Fargo-Moorhead area and surrounding areas, we also serve individuals and their families from throughout Minnesota, North Dakota and other states.
The Therapist assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates the psychosocial services for partial hospitalization program patients. Services are provided to children and adolescents with mental illness, chemical dependency or both. Counselors conduct individual, family and multi family group therapy, as well as community and in-house mental illness related education presentations. The Therapist contributes their unique perspective to an interdisciplinary team of professionals in the area of family systems and social work theory. The incumbent may be assigned supervision responsibilities for master's level family therapy interns, master's level counseling interns, or master's level social work interns, based on qualifications.
|This position requires a master's degree in social work, counseling, or a closely related social science or healthcare field and current licensure in the State of North Dakota as a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) or Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW).|
