Position Summary:


The Cook is responsible for the daily preparation and presentation of meals.  Meals should be both aesthetically pleasing and tasty.  Meals will be prepared in accordance with Turning Point’s approved menus and policies and procedures.  The Cook is directly responsible for the sanitation of the department.



Experience in a hospital, resturant or school food service preferred.

Interact appropriately with all populations served; understand budgetary processes, handling/acquisition of foods, and sanitation/safety standards

Ability to communicate verbally and in writing. Push, pull and lift up to 40 lbs.

Certification from City of Greenville in Food preparation.
