Stonington Institute began serving recovering
alcoholics in 1957 as Starlight Farms, a working farm where adults in
recovery were introduced to the principles of Alcoholics Anonymous.
Today, we are the longest continually operating, free-standing,
voluntary treatment facility in New England. Our main campus is
located in North Stonington, CT, in its original private and peaceful
rural setting. We have additional clinical sites in Groton, CT.
Transportation and off-campus housing assistance make our programs
and services accessible to a statewide clientele. Those programs
include: medical detoxification, rehabilitation/residential
treatment, partial hospitalization, intensive outpatient treatment
(both day and evening), ambulatory detoxification, and residential
substance abuse treatment for military servicemembers and their
dependents. The Institute accepts private insurance, state-funded
plans and self pay arrangements.
This is a part-time position, 20 hours weekly. Flexible hours.
|The ideal candidate is highly organized, computer literate, and able to prioritize and accomplish tasks accurately without direct supervision. Ability to communicate effectively is essential, as is 1-3 years prior experience in an administrative capacity. Prior experience in a medical or behavioral health setting is helpful.|
