Performs chart reviews and interfaces with managed care entities, TMHS physicians, other treatment team members, and facility administration with regard to utilization management issues. Assists in maintaining a system to assess appropriate utilization of hospital and patient resources. Interfaces with and assists Continuing Quality Improvement Team as needed.

Timberlawn MHS  a 144-bed behavioral health facility located in Dallas, TX  is looking for  seasoned / dedicated UR-Coordinator


To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to demonstrate competency, knowledge, skill, and ability to meet the minimum requirements for this position.



Masters’ degree in behavioral science

Texas Social Work License  LMSW or LMSW,  LPC, LPC-I preferred.

Prior experience working with a psychiatric mental health population, preferably in an inpatient  setting.  Three years experience in UR preferred

Must have sound clinical treatment skills, good verbal and written communications
Skills, social skills adequate for developing a working relationship with patient
