The Recruitment Manager will oversee the life cycle recruitment for all executive hires in the Behavioral Health division of UHS. They will actively interface with hiring managers to source, assess, interview and hire highly talented individuals for over 200 psychiatric/mental health facilities in 38 states across the US.

Essential Job Duties:


Primary recruiter for placement of C-suite talent in the Behavioral Health division of Universal Health Services. Completes the qualification of candidates which includes: vetting candidates against specifications, hosts candidates for on-site visits to Corp HQ, compiles feedback and coordinates hiring decisions and offers of employment.

Develops recruitment strategies to meet the current and future needs of the Behavioral Health division. Implements systems and processes that support the function’s needs and that comply with company policy, regulations and legislation.

Builds a candidate pipeline for future positions through specialized programs and targeted sourcing channels. This includes creating a mechanism to expand and track networks/contacts/alumni and potential candidates.

Develops and implements recruitment plans and sourcing strategies for facility-based professionals.

Represents the Behavioral Health division at appropriate industry conferences/meetings to develop and maintain relationships with future candidates.

Performs other duties as assigned/required.


Bachelor’s degree required. Professional certification, such as SPHR, preferred.

Minimum of 8-10 years of progressively more responsible recruitment experience, with at least five years of experience managing the life cycle of the senior management/executive recruiting process.

Experience in the healthcare sector is required. Experience in the healthcare management or behavioral health industry is preferred. Knowledge of and skill in candidate assessment and behavior-based interviewing methods, talent acquisition process mapping techniques and improvements.
